'About Women' is a collaborative, social, and artistic Mail Art project created in 2010 by the Barcelona based artist Katia Muñoz, who is originally from Peru.  Four major international calls were held on various thematic axes concerning women today.  More than 600 artists participated and sent their original pieces of artwork through the ordinary postal system. 

 

The complete collection consists of more than 2600 postcards. This Mail Art Installation travels the world!  It has been exhibited in various cities in Spain, Holland, Germany, Colombia, and most recently Italy, at the Liceo Vito Scafidi, Turín, where it was given the Chamber of Commerce Award "Stories D'alternanza" in 2021.  In each country, a project ambassador is appointed who works collaboratively to create a synergy with the host gallery.  

 

This is the first time that the exhibition will be shown in the UK, and we are delighted to welcome it here in Wales!  There are many British participants, whom we hope will be able to visit the show.
